Transplanting salad amaranth

The seedlings of salad amaranth (these amaranth are for eating and not ornamental), which were raised from seeds, have grown well and are now ready for planting in the ground.

This is green amaranth, Tender leaves.

The picture above is red amaranth.

This is the first time for us to grow amaranth. I sowed a lot of them, not knowing that its germination rate was quite so high. Now, lots of them are growing!

We transplanted many of them in our vegetable garden, but  there are still more seedlings to plant. We need to find the space for them!
