Okra, courgette and pumpkins have sprouted and are ready to pot up. This is a courgette and a type of pumpkin called ‘Butter Cup’.
This is okra. The seeds are old and the germination rate was not very good.
Even if the courgette sprouts only this much, the roots are still growing under the soil. That’s why I try to pot them up as soon as possible.
As you can see in the picture above, the roots are still growing this strong, even if they have only just sprouted.
Now they are planted in 3 inch pots.
